3 PEAKS YORKSHIRE CHALLENGE

4 members of the South East Poolies will be attempting the 3 Peaks Yorkshire Challenge on Sunday 28th of August to raise money for Help4Heroes, The British Heart Foundation and Hartlepool United Foundation.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk is a very demanding but rewarding walk, which takes in the summits of Pen-y-ghent (694 metres - 2,276 feet), Whernside (736 metres - 2,415 feet) and Ingleborough (723 metres 2,372 feet) all in one circular route.

Stu Miller, Graham Allen, Leigh Allen and Simon Belsham are the 4 members taking part and have been training hard for almost a year for the challenge.

They will be staying at a campsite in the Yorkshire Dales and enjoying the comforts and delights of a 4-man tent and camping stove. The lads will also be leaving alcohol alone for the week or so before the challenge in order to best prepare themselves.
Regular Facebook updates and photos will be published throughout the walk (signal permitting) in order to let people know exactly how we are doing.

If you would like to sponsor the lads and help them raise money please e-mail to kentpoolies@hotmail.co.uk or phone Stu on 07789 734790.
