HARTLEPOOL UNITED F.C. SOUTH EAST POOLIES

OCTOBER NEWS

HARTLEPOOL WEEKEND

It is once again the time of year when we have to start making arrangements for the annual Hartlepool Weekend. As previously mentioned this will be the Sheff Utd game on March 31st. The plan as usual is to travel on the Friday, returning on the Sunday. Due to the increase in numbers over the past few years and the fact that initial estimates give numbers in excess of 20 for this year we are planning to travel by train rather than the usual 'chuckle bus'. Within the next week I hope to be able to give full details and its important that we have numbers and deposits by the deadline that will be set. The price will be broken down into travel and accomodation for those who plan to make their own way there, but we hope to keep it around the usual £100 for the whole package. This of course includes 2 nights accomodation in a 6 Star Hotel(!) and travel.

Like last year we plan to take on the Corner Flag on the Friday night in a Pool & Darts evening, where of course we hope to win the trophy's this year! Those that are intersted in travelling up for the weekend are asked to let me (Stu) know on 07789 734790 if you haven't already done so.

SPARE TRAIN TICKET FOR CHESTERFIELD

Rob Wilson has a spare train ticket for this Saturdays game at Chesterfield. The train ticket is from London and will cost around £20. If there are any members or non-members that would like to buy this ticket from him then contact Stu on 07789 734790. I may not answer straight away as I am currently working nghts, but I will respond at the earliest opportunity.

NOTTS COUNTY GAME LIVE ON SKY

The South East Poolies will be meeting in a Bromley pub to watch Pools live on Sky Sports away to Notts County this Sunday, 9th of October. The game kicks off at 4.30pm and supporters will be meeting at 3.45pm outside of Bromley South Train Station or from 4pm in the pub. All are welcome and more details are available from Stu on 07789 734790.

The pub comes highly rated by member Rob Wilson. This is also his local pub and has a great reputation, especially for its quality and range of real ales. For pub reviews visit Beer in the Evening.
